so lately, I've been watching all of the back to the future series and I've been thinking, would I go to the future or past if I was presented with such an opportunity?
if I returned to the past I could right wrongs that I made, fix friendships or change aspects of myself but that could jeopardise who I am today and the relationships I have which I wouldn't give up for anything. however, it would be interesting to see myself younger, see my current friends when they were younger, get all of us together back then and see how we are as a group and get a photo of us all looking cute.
the other possibility would be to visit the future. this would be scary as if I saw something I didn't like then it could ruin my current life in the sense that I'd always be considering the impending future. although, i could possibly prevent a bad future if I knew what I was required to change. I suppose if I had to pick one though, I'd pick the future as opposed to the past. I know my past, it's my future that I don't know.
BUT thankfully, I'll never have to make that decision as it's just a hypothetical situation :)
