tricks of the trade

so, here's a tidbit on my life for you followers o' mine. every single sunday, i work in a local social club called the elmfield where i collect and wash glasses, not a bad gig. i only work sundays 12:30-5 and, usually, fridays 8-11:30 so it's not like i'm always stuck in the place. it's a good part time job, the staff are really nice, the customers can be a bit annoying but i love the ones who always have nice stories and praise to give so i figured it's just the glass collecting itself i don't like. y'see i'm a pretty hard worker, i get my job done and have a laugh which is probably why everybody there likes me but it's just when it gets really busy, i lose the will.
above is my weapon of choice. i'm like joan of arc, if you can compare a broken green basket to that of an almighty sword and god's supposed chosen warrior to my moniker of "the boss' part-time drone". by the way, i got the skywalker jibe again today, just if anyone's taking a tally. anywho, after work today i had sunday lunch. this is a huge tradition in my house, since we were little we've all sat around and basked in the perfection that are my mam's yorkshire puddings and gravy. mmf, i look forward to them after work every sunday, then we went out to the park. was an alright night i guess, nothing eventful really happened though.

actually, i just remembered. there was this proper creepy sight, like out of a horror movie. okay, me and my bestest friend ever, hollie, were walking down the street and we looked up to see a black figure stood in the window of a house, okay? he was dressed all in black and was clothed so as to hide his face then as we gazed on, we saw he was looming over a young, pretty blonde girl who was focused on the computer. when i pointed this out, hollie freaked out. she ran down the street screaming, i'm not going to lie, i was rather shaken by this. i thought he was going to go to town on her, slice and dice the young woman as blood splattered on the window then point to us as if to say 'you're next' like in scream or something of the sort. i think i like horror films a bit too much, plus i'm over dramatic as well.

well, at least being over dramatic and slightly narcissistic makes for an interesting life, i suppose.
